I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy. We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.(Buddha) The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life. Find a place inside where there's joy, and the joy will burn out the pain. Make space in your life for the things that matter, for family and friends, love and generosity, fun and joy. Without this, you will burn out in mid-career and wonder where your life went.
